My instructor knew a lot about driving and where you were going wrong, but had no idea how to teach it. If you are someone who is maybe slightly nervous on the roads or generally not very comfortable I would not go to this company. I was made to feel like I was stupid to still be quite nervous after only 3 times going on roads. My instructor actually gave up on me during my third lesson on the road (after a few lessons in a car park), said I couldn't do it, and told me to go and learn on an automatic. I switched companies for my driving lesson and made massive progress quickly, I wouldn't waste any money on this company.

I was put with Yvette for a week's intensive driving course. On our very first lesson (which was supposed to be 3 hours) she was about half an hour late, and we had to cut the lesson an hour short because her car had a fault. She then called me in tears from the garage while she was getting it fixed that afternoon - bear in mind I had only met this woman that day! Yvette continued to be extremely unprofessional throughout our time together, constantly turning up late for lessons, cancelling lessons, or cutting lessons short by 20 minutes here and there so she could get home earlier. On one occasion, Yvette turned up at my house AN HOUR AND A HALF EARLY unannounced and simply demanded that I come out and start the lesson before we had arranged. I was frankly blown away by the lack of professionalism shown by Yvette, and this did not help with my confidence behind the wheel one bit. In terms of actually teaching me to drive, I cannot deny I made some progress (27 hours in a week will do that), but Yvette was unable to answer many of my basic questions as we went along, and mostly just told me 'don't worry, just get on with it'.

Eventually I gave up and asked for a refund for 6 hours' worth of lessons - Yvette's cancellations and various problems meant that 6 of the hours I paid for that week didn't happen that week. Even in giving me my money back, Yvette was unprofessional, taking a few weeks and transferring in two installments, claiming she'd just forgotten. I cannot speak for the rest of the No Ls instructors, but I would not recommend Yvette to anyone. Incredibly unprofessional.

I can’t believe I passed!!! When I first started driving I had absolutely no confidence, I didn’t even know how to start a car let alone drive on the road. Luckily I had pete who was so patient with me and taught me everything at my own pace and never rushed me into doing anything I wasn’t comfortable doing yet. Because of pete I passed my driving test first time, he’s an amazing instructor and can’t thank him enough for how much he’s helped me
